Update for Red Flag
Posted on June 14, 2017
A minor update for Red Flag has been published this evening, bringing it to version 0.82. This update fixes a reported issue within LabTech 11 where a .Net error may occur when opening multiple computer windows at once. Additionally, it speeds up the plugin load time slightly in LT11 by not trying do work it would do in the old computer window UI. Last but not least, the alert that pops up now shows the client name and computer name in the title (it was previously just the computer name), as requested by another user.
Thanks for the feedback, guys! You can feel free to update the plugin with the Plugin Installer.
Thanks,
TIm
Myself and all my techs thank you.
The .net errors were very annoying but it was either live with it or remove the plugin.
Thanks again!
Tim,
With LT11’s right-click shortcut to ScreenConnect/Control, I’m finding my techs using this method mostly which bypasses the red flag pop they would normally see when opening the computer management screen.
Is there any way to get RedFlag to pop before the screenconnect window when using the shortcut?
Bryce,
Good question. I’m not 100% sure right now, but I’ll look into it to see what can be done.
Thanks,
Tim
I have removed and installed RedFlag again and I still show version .81 not .82 i was hoping to get this updated to avoid the .net errors. Any idea why i can’t seem to get .82 or where i can directly download it?
William,
I apologize for the delay. Retry the installer and it should properly install .82 now.
Thanks,
TIm
