Touch update – Duo support, current resource usage, and more
Posted on May 24, 2016
We received some feedback requesting Duo support for Touch and thought that was a great idea. So, if you’re using Greg Buerk’s Duo Security Plugin, you can also use the same settings within Touch to add two-factor authentication. Rather than a passcode, automatic authentication is attempted via Duo Mobile (push), text, or phone call, depending on how the user is configured. Thanks much to Greg for the existing plugin support and allowing us to work with that to bring the feature to Touch!
But that’s not all! The computer At A Glance screen now shows current cpu/memory usage (under 10 day usage). You can also hover over the maintenance mode flag and see when it expires. There’s also a check now to see if a computer is new and some information unavailable, which should eliminate errors when you open them up. Finally, you can scroll up and down through command history in the command prompt – this feature is so useful in the regular LT client that we had to add it!
As always, we appreciate the feedback and look forward to more so we can continue to improve upon Touch.
